What we collect

When you play Ruby Prism, the only personal information we store is the name you choose to enter and a random session token that identifies you in the leaderboard. We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, or any other personal identifiers.

Each game you complete sends us a score, the number of moves used, gems cleared, and cascades achieved. This data is stored in a local SQLite database on the server that hosts the game.

What we do not collect

We do not use analytics services. We do not place tracking cookies. We do not use fingerprinting, pixel tags, or any form of behavioral tracking. We do not sell data to third parties because we do not collect data that would be worth selling.

How we use your data

Your name and score appear on the public leaderboard so you can see your rank among other players. Your session token is used to authenticate your identity between game sessions so your best score carries over. That is the only use of your data.

How long we keep your data

Player records and game scores are retained indefinitely as part of the historical leaderboard. If you want your data removed, contact us using the form on our contact page and we will delete your player record within 7 days.

Where your data is stored

All data is stored on the server that hosts the game. It is not shared with any third-party service, cloud provider, or analytics platform. The database is SQLite, which means it is a single file on a single server.

Children

Ruby Prism is a free puzzle game suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. The current version is always available here. We will not retroactively change how previously collected data is handled.
