Terms of service

What this is

Ruby Prism is a free browser-based match-3 puzzle game. No account is required to play. No payment is required. There are no in-app purchases, no premium tiers, and no paid features. The game is provided as-is at no cost.

Playing the game

You may play the game as many times as you like. Each game consists of 30 moves on a 7 by 7 grid of gems. Your score is recorded and appears on the public leaderboard under the name you provide.

Fair play

The game validates that submitted scores are mathematically possible given the number of moves played. Automated scripts, bots, or any form of programmatic score submission are not permitted. If a score appears on the leaderboard, it should represent a game played by a human using a browser. We reserve the right to remove scores that appear to be submitted by non-human means.

Your name on the leaderboard

The name you enter when playing appears publicly on the leaderboard. Choose something you are comfortable sharing with other players. Names are limited to 32 characters and may only contain letters, numbers, and spaces. HTML and special characters are not permitted.

Content and ownership

The game code, visual design, gem illustrations, and written content are owned by the Ruby Prism project. The source code is available on GitHub under the project repository. You may fork, study, and modify the code for personal use. You may not repackage or redistribute the game as your own product without attribution.

Limitation of liability

The game is provided without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent data retention, or specific leaderboard rankings. Server maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues may affect availability. We are not liable for any losses arising from use of or inability to use the game.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
